How do i add life to my short hair that is layered????

i have short hair its about 1 1/2 inches above my shoulders what are some good styling ideas that i can use with out the use of a curling iron or a straight iron???How do i add life to my short hair that is layered????
Texturize! If you are bored with your look, check out some waxes and pommades. Bedhead and Redkin make awesome texure products. Work a dime sized amount of product into your hair starting from the ends up. tri getting it braided like micro braids r good and u can add extentons like i do now my hair can move when i walk lol
I have the same problem! Curl it! Curl it and put the middle of your hair up, and then some little flowers pin them with bobby pins
blow dry and then use bed head products
Hot rollers or velcro rollers and a blow dryer will give it volume after a shower, and you can do stuff while they're working their magic. If you're in a real hurry, flip upside down when you blowdry and tousle with your fingers.
